Travel through the rolling countryside of Transylvania to the peaceful village of Viscri, home to one of the region’s famous UNESCO-listed Saxon fortified churches. Dating back nearly 800 years, the church formed part of a vast defensive network built throughout Transylvania during medieval times.

Enjoy a meal in a beautifully restored traditional guesthouse that preserves the authentic atmosphere of village life. Viscri itself gained international attention through preservation efforts supported by King Charles III, who owns a property in the village and has long promoted the protection of Transylvania’s rural heritage.

Continue to the medieval citadel of Sighișoara, one of the last inhabited fortified towns in Europe and the birthplace of Vlad the Impaler, the historical figure associated with the Dracula legend.

Wander through colorful cobbled streets lined with clock towers, defensive walls, guild towers and hidden cafés tucked inside centuries-old bastions before returning to Brasov in the evening.
