The adventure begins with a flight to Rome, where the exploration starts immediately with some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. You will tour the awe-inspiring Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill before visiting the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna and the Pantheon. The day ends with a lively dinner in Rome’s charming Trastevere neighborhood.

The journey continues with a visit to Vatican City, including St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. Afterward you board a train to Florence, where you will admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David, at the Galleria dell’Accademia and take in the Renaissance skyline from Piazzale Michelangelo.

Flying next to Athens, the adventure shifts to the enchanting streets of the Plaka neighborhood. You will explore the iconic Acropolis and Parthenon, visit the Acropolis Museum and discover the Temple of Olympian Zeus, delving deep into Greece’s rich cultural heritage.

A journey through the Greek countryside follows, beginning with the coastal drive to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon standing above the Aegean. In Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, you will tour the ancient temples and stadium before crossing the Rio-Antirrio bridge into the mountainous regions.

In Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world, you will visit the Temple of Apollo, explore the stunning ruins and tour the Archaeological Museum with its remarkable artifacts. The journey concludes back in Athens, filled with memories of history, mythology, culture and beauty across Italy and Greece.

Day 1 | Thu, June 24th, 2027 Fly to Rome

Depart the United States on an overnight flight bound for Rome. Ten days of ancient wonders across Italy and Greece begin here.

Day 2 | Fri, June 25th, 2027 Rome

Day Overview:
  • Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill
  • Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain
  • Piazza Colonna and the Pantheon
  • Dinner in Trastevere

Put on your walking shoes. Today we explore many of Rome‘s most famous places.

We depart in the morning and head to the Colosseum. Afterward we head to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Taking a break for lunch then on to:

  • Spanish Steps / Piazza di Spagna
  • Trevi Fountain
  • Piazza Colonna
  • Pantheon

Dinner this evening will be in the lively Roman neighborhood of Trastevere.

Day 3 | Sat, June 26th, 2027 Vatican / Florence

Day Overview:
  • St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums
  • The Sistine Chapel
  • Afternoon train to Florence
  • Overnight in Florence

Today we find ourselves in the smallest country in the world, the Vatican. We visit St. Peter’s Square and the Vatican Museums, which house the Sistine Chapel.

After the Vatican we board a train to Florence.

Day 4 | Sun, June 27th, 2027 Florence

Day Overview:
  • Galleria dell’Accademia and Michelangelo’s David
  • Piazzale Michelangelo and its panoramic views
  • Relaxed evening in Florence

After breakfast we begin our day with a visit to the Galleria dell’Accademia, home to one of the most celebrated sculptures in the world, Michelangelo’s David. This awe-inspiring marble masterpiece stands as a testament to the genius of Renaissance art and continues to draw admirers from across the globe.

In the afternoon we make our way to Piazzale Michelangelo, a hilltop terrace offering sweeping panoramic views of Florence’s historic skyline. With the Arno River winding through the city and the Duomo rising in the distance, it is the perfect spot to pause and take in the beauty of the Renaissance capital.

We end the day with a relaxed evening and an overnight stay in Florence.

Day 5 | Mon, June 28th, 2027 Athens

Day Overview:
  • Morning flight from Florence to Athens
  • Check in to the hotel
  • Evening in the Plaka neighborhood

After breakfast we head to the airport for our flight to Athens.

After arrival in Athens we check into our hotel. Later, meander around the Plaka neighborhood and admire the beauty of the flower-lined cobblestone streets. Pick up traditional crafts on the way back to the hotel for an early night.

Day 6 | Tue, June 29th, 2027 Athens

Day Overview:
  • The Acropolis and the Parthenon
  • Acropolis Museum
  • Temple of Olympian Zeus

Begin the day on top of the Acropolis by exploring the phenomenally built Parthenon and learn about Grecian culture in the Acropolis Museum. We also visit the Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Day 7 | Wed, June 30th, 2027 Athens - Olympia

Day Overview:
  • Coastal drive to Cape Sounio
  • Temple of Poseidon above the Aegean
  • Cross the Peloponnese to Olympia
  • Overnight in Olympia

Today we journey along the scenic coastal road to Cape Sounio, where the majestic Temple of Poseidon stands perched above the Aegean Sea. This ancient sanctuary, dedicated to the god of the sea, offers dramatic cliffside views and a deep sense of mythological wonder. After soaking in the beauty and history of this iconic site, we continue our drive through the picturesque Greek countryside toward Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Overnight stay in Olympia.

Day 8 | Thu, July 1st, 2027 Olympia - Delphi

Day Overview:
  • Olympia archaeological site and museum
  • Cross the Gulf of Corinth by the Rio-Antirrio bridge
  • Mountain village of Arachova
  • Overnight in Delphi

Visit the Olympia archaeological site and view the Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium and the Archaeological Museum.

Then, after a short stop in Patras, depart for Rion, crossing the Gulf of Corinth by the Rio-Antirrio bridge to Antirion.

Pass the city of Nafpaktos and from there follow the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the navel of the world. In the afternoon visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova before an overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 9 | Fri, July 2nd, 2027 Delphi - Athens

Day Overview:
  • Castalia Spring and the Delphi archaeological site
  • Temple of Apollo and its oracle
  • Delphi Archaeological Museum
  • Return to Athens

Pass the Castalia Spring and visit the Delphi archaeological site. View the monument of the Argive kings, the Temple of Pronaia, the Athenian Treasury, the Stoa of the Athenians, the Polygonal wall, the monument of Platea and the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle.

Visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum to see its spectacular exhibits, including the frieze of the Siphnian Treasury, the Naxian Sphinx, the Statue of Antinous, the metopes of the Athenian Treasury and the famous bronze Charioteer.

Later, return to Athens.

Day 10 | Sat, July 3rd, 2027 Departure

Transfer to the airport for the flight home.
