Arrive in Bali and embark on a scenic four-hour drive to the tranquil Sumberkima Hill Retreat.
Upon arrival, check in and take some time to relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. In the evening, come together with the group for a warm and welcoming dinner.
Begin your day with a yoga class for 1 hour 15 minutes approximately. It is an important thing for raising, flowing, moving and balancing the energy within our body that would be used worthy in your life. Then, follow by breakfast at the resort.
In the afternoon, during your free time you are invited to join the resort’s daily organized activities such as Nature Walk, free use of health and well-being facilities (pool, gym and hot jacuzzi in spa) and the afternoon herbal tea at the poolside café.
After breakfast, we’ll head out for a scenic 1.5-hour drive to Aling Aling Waterfalls in Sambangan, a breathtaking series of five large waterfalls surrounded by lush tropical greenery. The fresh, crystal-clear water flowing from the mountains creates a refreshing and peaceful atmosphere – perfect for immersing yourself in nature’s beauty.
Later, we’ll visit Brahma Vihara Arama, the largest Buddhist monastery in Bali, also known as the Banjar Buddhist Temple. The name comes from three Sanskrit words: Brahma meaning “great” or “noble,” Vihara meaning “way of life,” and Arama meaning “place.” True to its meaning, this serene monastery offers a calm and spiritual ambiance, making it a wonderful spot to reflect and unwind.
The Bali Barat National park is the home of more than 160 different bird and plant species. This hike starts after a 15 minutes drive into the Park.
The 2 hours hike will be passing the coastline with mangroves and using a forest trail. Half way on a romantic spot overlooking the sea a picnic is prepared for you. The hike ends at the Bali Mynah bird sanctuary, a preservation place for the endangered Bali Starling or Jalak Bali. During the hike you have a chance to see and hear different birds, monkeys, deers and other wildlife.
Set off on a scenic boat ride through serene mangroves and past local fish farms, en route to the stunning white sand island of Gili Putih. As you glide across the water, enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and the distant volcanoes of Java rising majestically in the background.
This journey also supports Metamorfosa, a local reef restoration initiative. During the trip, you’ll snorkel down to a unique underwater art gallery – an innovative coral restoration effort where artists have created sculptures symbolizing change. These structures serve as strong bases for baby corals to thrive.
The temple tour in this area takes you through four beautiful temples – Belatung, Pulaki, Pabean, and Melanting – each dedicated to a different deity and rich with its own fascinating story. It’s a wonderful way to learn about Balinese Hinduism and experience the island’s deep spiritual traditions firsthand.
After the temple visits and lunch, we’ll take some time to explore the local shopping areas, where you can browse for souvenirs, handicrafts and locally made products.
Please note that wearing a sarong is mandatory when visiting the temples.
