Continue your exploration with a historical tour of Naxos, including visits to ancient statues, marble villages, folklore museums, and beaches perfect for relaxing or taking a dip in the Aegean Sea.

Next, set sail to Santorini, known for its dramatic cliffs, whitewashed buildings, and breathtaking views. Day 1Travel from US to Venice

We will depart for our overnight flight to Venice

Day 2Arrival in Venice, Italy

Upon arrival at Venice Airport, we will transfer to our hotel and check in. After some time to rest and refresh, we’ll head out to explore two of Venice’s most iconic landmarks.

Our first stop is the Rialto Bridge, the oldest and most famous bridge across the Grand Canal, known for its elegant architecture and nearby market stalls.

We’ll then enjoy a walk along the Grand Canal, Venice’s main waterway, lined with stunning palaces and vibrant life on the water.

In the evening, we’ll come together for a delightful welcome dinner, celebrating our arrival in this magical city.

Day 3Icons of Venice & Culinary Delights

Today, after breakfast, we’ll begin our day by exploring some of Venice’s most iconic landmarks.

We start with a visit to St. Mark’s Basilica, a masterpiece of Byzantine architecture adorned with golden mosaics and rich history.

Next, we’ll tour the Doge’s Palace, the former residence of the Doge of Venice, filled with grand halls, Renaissance art, and the famous Bridge of Sighs.

We’ll then spend time in St. Mark’s Square (Piazza San Marco), the heart of Venice, where you can soak in the atmosphere, enjoy the architecture, and perhaps grab a coffee at one of its historic cafés.

The afternoon is free for you to explore at your own pace — stroll the charming alleys, take a gondola ride, or shop for Venetian masks and glass.

In the evening, we’ll come together for a Venetian food tour, sampling local delicacies and learning about the city’s rich culinary traditions.

Day 4Island Hopping & Venetian Melodies

Today, after breakfast, we’ll set out on a scenic excursion to explore the enchanting islands of the Venetian Lagoon.

Our first stop is Murano, world-famous for its centuries-old tradition of glassmaking – we’ll visit a local workshop to witness the art in action. Next, we head to the colorful island of Burano, known for its brightly painted houses and intricate handmade lace. We’ll then visit Torcello, the oldest of the lagoon islands, home to the historic Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and a peaceful, rustic charm.

In the evening, depending on the show schedule, you’ll have the opportunity to attend a Vivaldi concert, celebrating the music of Venice’s most beloved composer in a magical setting. 

Day 5From Venice to Florence – Tuscan Views Await

This morning, after breakfast, we’ll enjoy a relaxed start before taking an early afternoon train from Venice to Florence, a journey through the scenic Italian countryside.

Upon arrival in Florence, we’ll check in to our hotel and settle in. Later in the day, we’ll visit Piazzale Michelangelo, a famous panoramic viewpoint offering breathtaking views over the city’s skyline, including the iconic Duomo and Arno River – a perfect spot for photos as the sun begins to set.

Day 6Tuscan Treasures – Pisa, Siena & San Gimignano

Today, we’ll embark on a full-day excursion through the heart of Tuscany, visiting three of the region’s most iconic destinations.

Our first stop is Pisa, where you’ll have the chance to see the world-famous Leaning Tower, along with the beautiful Cathedral and Baptistery in the Square of Miracles.

We’ll then continue to Siena, a medieval gem known for its stunning Piazza del Campo, home to the famous Palio horse race, and its impressive Gothic cathedral.

Our final stop is the charming hilltop town of San Gimignano, often called the “Medieval Manhattan” for its many towers. You’ll have time to stroll its cobbled streets, shop for local products, and perhaps sample some award-winning gelato.

After a day rich in history, culture, and breathtaking views, we’ll return to Florence for a relaxing evening.

Day 7Art, Icons & Local Finds in Florence

Today is all about immersing yourself in the rich artistic and cultural heritage of Florence.

We begin with a visit to Florence Cathedral (Duomo) – admire its iconic red dome, marvel at the façade, and take in the vibrant energy of the Piazza del Duomo.

Next, we’ll walk to the Ponte Vecchio, Florence’s oldest and most famous bridge, lined with charming shops offering jewelry and souvenirs. You’ll also have time for local shopping, exploring Florence’s bustling markets and artisan boutiques.

Later, we’ll visit Palazzo Vecchio, the city’s historic town hall and former residence of the powerful Medici family.

Day 8Coastal Magic – Day Trip to Cinque Terre

Today, we’ll embark on a stunning day trip to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Italy’s most picturesque coastal regions.

This string of five colorful fishing villages – Monterosso, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola, and Riomaggiore – clings to the dramatic cliffs along the Ligurian Sea. Each village has its own charm, with vibrant houses, winding lanes, and breathtaking sea views.

You’ll have time to explore the scenic trails, enjoy fresh seafood, relax by the sea, and soak in the unforgettable beauty of the Italian Riviera.

In the evening, we’ll return to Florence, bringing back memories of a truly magical coastal escape.

Day 9Masterpieces & Memories – Art, Olive Oil, and Farewell

We begin our final full day in Florence with a visit to the Galleria dell’accademia, home to Michelangelo’s iconic David sculpture – a true masterpiece of Renaissance art.

Later, we’ll journey to a local olive oil farm nestled in the Tuscan countryside. Here, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the groves, learn about the production process, and sample fresh, high-quality olive oil straight from the source. 

As the sun sets, we’ll gather for a special farewell dinner, celebrating the unforgettable experiences and friendships made during our journey through Italy.

Day 10Arrivederci, Italy – Return to the USA

This morning, we will transfer to the airport in Florence for our return flight to the USA.

As we say goodbye to Italy, we take with us unforgettable memories of art, culture, cuisine, and the beautiful landscapes we’ve explored together. Safe travels and arrivederci until next time!
