A highlight of the journey is the Warner Brothers Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter, where you’ll step onto real film sets, uncover behind-the-scenes secrets, and experience the wonder of Diagon Alley and Hogwarts firsthand. Afterward, the journey continues with a scenic train ride to Edinburgh, immersing you in the literary world that inspired J.K. Rowling. You’ll explore charming cafes, historic streets, and celebrate Scottish culture with a traditional dinner.

In Edinburgh, the rich history unfolds with visits to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Holyrood Palace, and the serene Calton Hill Cemetery. The journey then ventures north to Inverness, stopping at the moving Culloden Battlefield to reflect on the country’s storied past. Day 1Fly overnight from the U.S. to London!

Calling all Muggles! Depart the United States on an overnight flight bound for London’s Heathrow Airport.

Day 2Arrival

After arriving in London and checking into our hotel, take some time to unwind.

Later, feel free to explore the nearby areas at your own pace and get an authentic first impression of the city.

Day 3Magical London Tour and Iconic Landmarks

Today we get a chance to visit some of the most famous Harry Potter spots in London! We will visit:
  • Leadenhall Market – Where Hagrid takes Harry shopping for school supplies.
  • Australia House (Australian Embassy) – The filming location for Gringott’s Wizarding Bank
  • King’s Cross Station – Platform 9 3/4
  • Big Ben
  • House of Parliament
  • Tower Bridge
  • Millennium Bridge – attacked by Death Eaters in The Half-Blood Prince

Later this afternoon we will take a ride on the London Eye. For dinner we will experience on of London’s famous fish and chip shops

Day 4Magical Day at Warner Brothers Studio: The Making of Harry Potter

Today you will have a chance to visit the Warner Brothers Studio for the tour – The Making of Harry Potter.
  • You will enjoy previously unheard anecdotes before taking a unique walking tour that takes you behind-the-scenes and showcases an array of beautiful sets, costumes and props. It also reveals some closely guarded secrets, including facts about the special effects and animatronics that made these films so hugely popular all over the world. Step inside and discover the great hall. Explore Dumbledore’s office and discover never-before-seen treasures. Step onto the famous cobbles of Diagon Alley, featuring the shop fronts of Ollivanders wand shop, Flourish and Blotts, the Weasleys’ Wizard Wheezes, Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Eeylops Owl Emporium and so much more!
  • You also can collect an Activity Passport at the beginning of the tour so you can collect stamps at key points throughout the tour such as Platform 9 ¾ and Gringotts Bank.

This evening you will have some free time for exploring or relaxing in preparation for our morning train journey tomorrow.

Day 5From London to Edinburgh: A Literary Journey

After a hearty breakfast, we embark on a scenic morning train journey from London to Edinburgh, a city steeped in history and literary charm. Upon our arrival, we check into our comfortable accommodations and take a moment to unwind and refresh.

In the afternoon, we set out to explore the enchanting streets of Edinburgh, retracing the footsteps of one of the world’s most beloved authors, JK Rowling. We visit the quaint cafes and charming corners where she found inspiration for her iconic Harry Potter series, soaking in the ambiance that fueled her creativity.

As the sun sets over the picturesque cityscape, we gather for a traditional Scottish dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of haggis, neeps, and tatties, accompanied by lively conversation and warm hospitality. It’s a fitting end to a day filled with literary delights and Scottish charm.

Day 6Edinburgh's Regal Charm

After a delicious breakfast, we begin our day with a visit to the iconic Edinburgh Castle, perched majestically atop Castle Rock. As we explore this ancient fortress, we immerse ourselves in centuries of Scottish history, from royal ceremonies to military campaigns.

Following our castle adventure, we stroll along the historic Royal Mile, a bustling thoroughfare brimming with charming shops, fascinating museums, and lively street performers. Here, we delve into the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, marveling at its medieval architecture and vibrant atmosphere.

After a leisurely lunch, we venture to Calton Hill Cemetery, a tranquil haven overlooking the city. Amidst the serene surroundings, we pay our respects to Scotland’s past inhabitants, their stories echoing through time.

Our first stop is the haunting Culloden Battlefield, where we’ll delve into the poignant history of the Jacobite Rising of 1745. Walk amidst the solemn memorials, hear tales of bravery and sacrifice, and reflect on the turbulent events that unfolded on this hallowed ground.

Later, we continue our travels to Inverness, where we’ll check into our hotel for a restful overnight stay. Nestled amidst the serene beauty of the Scottish Highlands, our accommodation offers a tranquil retreat amidst breathtaking natural surroundings.

After breakfast, we check out from our hotel and make our way to Loch Ness for an enchanting cruise experience. Gliding across the tranquil surface of the loch, we soak in the stunning scenery and keep our eyes peeled for any signs of the elusive Loch Ness Monster. With each passing moment, we’re immersed in the mystique and magic of this iconic Scottish landmark.

After our captivating cruise, we enjoy a leisurely lunch, savoring the flavors of Scotland before beginning our journey back to Edinburgh. Along the way, we reflect on the memories we’ve made and the adventures we’ve shared.

As evening approaches, we gather one last time for a heartfelt farewell dinner, reminiscing about our time together and celebrating the bonds we’ve forged. With hearts full of gratitude and anticipation for our next adventures, we bid adieu to Edinburgh.
