The adventure begins with a flight to Rome, where the exploration starts immediately with some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. You’ll tour the awe-inspiring Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill before visiting the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Colonna, and the Pantheon. The day ends with a lively dinner in Rome’s charming Trastevere neighborhood.

The journey continues with a visit to the Vatican City, including St. Peter’s Square, the Vatican Museums, and the Sistine Chapel. Afterward, you’ll board a train to Florence, where you’ll admire Michelangelo’s masterpiece, David, at the Galleria dell’Accademia and spend the night surrounded by the beauty of Renaissance art.

Flying next to Athens, the adventure shifts to the enchanting streets of the Plaka neighborhood. You’ll explore the iconic Acropolis and Parthenon, visit the Acropolis Museum, and discover the Temple of Olympian Zeus, delving deep into Greece’s rich cultural heritage.

A multi-day journey through the Greek countryside follows, starting with a stop at the Corinth Canal and the famed ancient theater of Epidaurus. Visits to Mycenae and its legendary archaeological sites, including the Lion Gate and Royal Tombs, bring Homeric tales to life. In Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games, you’ll tour the ancient temples and stadium before crossing the Rio–Antirrio bridge into the mountainous regions.

In Delphi, once considered the center of the ancient world, you’ll visit the Temple of Apollo, explore the stunning ruins, and tour the Archaeological Museum with its remarkable artifacts. The journey concludes back in Athens, filled with memories of history, mythology, culture, and beauty across Italy and Greece.

Day 1Fly to Rome

Day 2Rome

Put on your walking shoes! Today we will explore many of Rome’s most famous places.

We will depart in the morning and head to the Colosseum. Afterward, we head to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Taking a break for lunch then on to:

  • Spanish Steps/Piazza di Spagna
  • Trevi Fountain
  • Piazza Colonna
  • Pantheon

Dinner this evening will be in the lively Roman neighborhood of Trastevere

Day 3Vatican / Florence

Today we will find ourselves in the smallest country in the world, the Vatican. We will visit St. Peters square and the Vatican Museums which house the Sistine Chapel.

After the Vatican we will get on a train to Florence.

Overnight in Florence.

Day 4Athens

After breakfast, we’ll begin our day with a visit to the Galleria dell’Accademia, home to one of the most celebrated sculptures in the world — Michelangelo’s David. This awe-inspiring marble masterpiece stands as a testament to the genius of Renaissance art and continues to draw admirers from across the globe.

In the afternoon, we’ll make our way to Piazzale Michelangelo, a hilltop terrace offering sweeping panoramic views of Florence’s historic skyline. With the Arno River winding through the city and the Duomo rising in the distance, it’s the perfect spot to pause and take in the beauty of the Renaissance capital.

We’ll end the day with a relaxed evening and an overnight stay in Florence.

Day 5Athens

After breakfast we will head to the airport for our flight to Athens.

After arrival at Athens, we will check into our hotel. Later, meander around the Plaka neighborhood and admire the beauty of the flower-lined cobblestone streets. Pick up traditional crafts on the way back to the hotel for an early night.

Day 6Athnes

Begin the day on top of the Acropolis by exploring the phenomenally built Parthenon and learn about Grecian culture in the Acropolis Museum. Also get to visit Temple of Olympian Zeus.

Day 7Athens - Olympia

Today, we’ll journey along the scenic coastal road to Cape Sounio, where the majestic Temple of Poseidon stands perched above the Aegean Sea. This ancient sanctuary, dedicated to the god of the sea, offers dramatic cliffside views and a deep sense of mythological wonder. After soaking in the beauty and history of this iconic site, we’ll continue our drive through the picturesque Greek countryside toward Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games.

Overnight stay in Olympia.

Day 8Olympia - Delphi

Visit the Olympia archaeological site and view the Temple of Zeus, Temple of Hera, the altar of the Olympic flame, the Stadium, and the Archaeological Museum.

Then, after a short stop in Patras, depart for Rion, crossing the Gulf of Corinth by the new Rio–Antirrio bridge to Antirion.

Pass the city of Nafpaktos and from there, follow the coastal road to Delphi, known in ancient times as the ‘navel of the world.’ In the afternoon, visit the picturesque mountain village of Arachova before an overnight stay in Delphi.

Day 9Delphi - Athens

Pass the Castalia Spring and visit the Delphi archaeological site. View the monument of the Argive kings, Temple of Pronaia, Athenian Treasury, Stoa of the Athenians, Polygonal wall, the monument of Platea, and the Temple of Apollo, famous for its oracle.

Visit the Delphi Archaeological Museum to see its spectacular exhibits, including the frieze of the Siphnian Treasury, the Naxian Sphinx, Statue of Antinous, the metopes of the Athenian Treasury, the famous bronze Charioteer, and many other artefacts.

Later, return to Athens
