In Bath, delight in a visit to the historic Sally Lunn’s Tea Room, explore the legendary Roman Baths, the elegant Circus, the Georgian House, and stroll through UNESCO-protected streets. On your return to London, stop at the sprawling Bowood Estate and the prehistoric wonder of Stonehenge.

Itinerary

Day 1Departure Day

Today we will depart the United States on our overnight flight to England.

Day 2Arrival in London

Once you arrive in London you will be greeted by a member of the Nord Skies team who will be your guide throughout your trip. We will store our luggage at the hotel before heading out to explore some of the sights including Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, St Paul’s cathedral, we will also take in the city from the London Eye.

Later we will have a welcome meal altogether.

Day 3London

Today we will explore London by open top bus, we will be able to hop on and off the bus at various attractions, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, The houses of parliament and Westminster Abbey.

Day 4Corsham and Chippenham

Today after breakfast we will head to Lacock Abbey, The Abbey was founded in the 13th century by Ela, the Countess of Salisbury as a nunnery.

In modern times the halls of the Abbey have been used as a filming location of some of the Harry Potter films.

Later in the day we will head to Corsham House, the filming location of the tv show Poldark. The house has records dating back to 978 and was one part of Queen Elizabeth I dowry. Next, we will head to Chippenham, a 16th century market village where you can explore, shop and grab a bite to eat before returning to the hotel.

Day 5Bath

Today we will start the day by visiting Sally Lunns tea room, home of the famous Bath Bunn. The historic building is one of the oldest in Bath.

Afterwards we are off to the Roman baths, Once the site of one of the great religious spas of the ancient world. Then we will head over to the circus, a historic range of large town houses in the city of Bath. We will visit the Georgian House which is an amazing step back in time to Georgian England. We will also visit Bath Abbey and walk along the UNESCO cobblestone roads.

Day 6Return to London

Today after breakfast we will return to London however first we will visit Bowood estate. The estate is over 100 acres in size and at the center of it all is the Georgian house at Italian inspired garden.

Next, we will visit one of the most recognizable sites in England, Stonehenge. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each standing stone around 4.1 meters (13 ft) high. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the densest complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds.

Day 7Travel to Paris

This morning we will leave our hotel and head to the airport and take a flight to Paris. Once we arrive, we will store our luggage at our hotel before heading to visit one of the landmarks of Paris, The Eiffel Tower before we head to our evening meal.

Day 8Arc de Triomphe

We will start our day by visiting the Arc de Triomphe, it is one of the most famous monuments in Paris, standing at the western end of the Champs-Élysées.

Afterwards there will be some time to explore the shops on the Champs-Élysées before we head to Sacré-Coeur. The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, commonly known as Sacré-Cœur Basilica and often simply Sacré-Cœur, is a Roman Catholic church and minor basilica, the basilica is located at the summit of the butte Montmartre, the highest point in the city.

In the evening get ready to discover the charming Montmartre neighborhood on a walking tour.

Stop at local eateries to savor French delicacies like escargots and coq au vin while taking in stunning views of the city.

Day 9The Louvre

Today we will spend the morning exploring the incredible collection of art and artifacts on display, including the iconic Mona Lisa. Afterward, take a short stroll to the beautiful Jardin de Tuileries, where you can enjoy delightful picnic lunch in the garden.

In the early afternoon, indulge in a sweet treat at Angelina’s, where you can sample their famous hot chocolate. Then, continue your adventure with a visit to the grand Place de la Concorde.

Day 10Notre Dame / Sainte-Chapelle / Musée d'Orsay

After breakfast, we will start our day with a viewing experience of the Notre-Dame Cathedral.

Afterward, we will head over to the Sainte-Chapelle, a stunning Gothic chapel located on the Ile de la Cité. The chapel has some of the most beautiful stained-glass windows in the world.

Later, we will visit Musée d’Orsay, which is home to an extensive collection of Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art.

Tonight, we will have dinner in the Latin Quarter.

Day 11Versailles and Monet's Garden

Start the day early with a delicious breakfast at your hotel, before embarking on a scenic drive to the Chateau de Versailles.

Upon arrival, explore the opulent palace and gardens, once home to King Louis XIV and the seat of power in France. Marvel at the grandeur of the Hall of Mirrors, the opulent apartments, and the stunning gardens that surround the palace.
 
In the afternoon, take a short drive to Giverny to visit Monet’s Impressionist Garden, the inspiration behind some of his most famous paintings.
 
Stroll along the paths, taking in the colorful blooms and tranquil water features that made this garden a source of inspiration for Monet’s art.As the day comes to a close, enjoy a relaxing dinner at a local restaurant, savoring the flavors of French cuisine and reflecting on the memorable experiences of the day

Day 12Departure

Today we will depart and return to the United States.
