Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. You will be picked up by Elia and Gloria Musasizi at the airport and taken to Tsiyon Family Hospital (TFH) where you will take some time to relax and get settled in a private room located on the top floor of the hospital.
A light lunch will be served followed by a visit to several local schools.
After dinner Elia & Gloria will share information regarding customs and expectations while in Uganda.
After breakfast, enjoy a guided tour of the hospital and meet with the dedicated medical staff.
Later, travel to Kampala to exchange currency and explore vibrant African craft markets. If time permits, meet with Pastor Robert Kayanja – a mentor to Elia and a strong supporter of TFH.
For those interested, attend Pastor Elia’s Resurrection Centre Church service, followed by a fellowship lunch. In the evening, meet with Elia and Gloria to review procedures and protocols for patient reception and treatment at TFH.
Host a FREE Family Medical Clinic at Tsiyon Family Hospital. Work alongside the hospital’s medical staff to treat patients as they arrive throughout the day. Non-medical team members will participate in various support activities around the hospital and distribute donated items.
Following Wednesday’s clinic, hold a debriefing meeting to discuss successes and share suggestions for improving future clinics.
Begin the day with an exciting departure for Murchison Falls National Park, one of Uganda’s most spectacular wildlife reserves. Along the way, stop at the Rhino Sanctuary, a vital conservation area dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating Uganda’s rhino population. Take a guided tour to observe these magnificent creatures up close while learning about ongoing conservation efforts.
After the visit, continue the journey to Murchison Falls, where breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife await. Settle into your accommodation and prepare for an unforgettable safari adventure in the coming days.
Spend the day exploring the vast wilderness of Murchison Falls National Park, home to an incredible variety of African wildlife. Journey through the park on a safari, spotting majestic elephants, towering giraffes, powerful lions, and herds of buffalo roaming freely across the savannah. As the sun sets, begin the return journey to Tsiyon Family Hospital in Sayyi, reflecting on the unforgettable sights and experiences of Uganda’s stunning natural landscapes.

In the evening, join the Tsiyon Family Hospital team for a shared dinner and fellowship.
