Join hands with the dedicated hospital team to host a free Family Medical Clinic, providing care and compassion to families in need. Medical and non-medical volunteers alike will play a vital role – supporting hospital operations, assisting patients and distributing donated items that bring smiles and relief to many.
Beyond service, immerse yourself in Uganda’s natural beauty and wildlife. Journey north to Murchison Falls National Park, stopping at the Rhino Sanctuary to witness inspiring conservation work before continuing to the breathtaking falls. Experience the thrill of an African safari, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes and more across the vast savannah.
Your time concludes with visits to local conservation projects and a community walk through Sayyi, offering a deeper glimpse into everyday Ugandan life. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. You will be picked up by Elia and Gloria Musasizi at the airport and taken to Tsiyon Family Hospital (TFH) where you will take some time to relax and get settled in a private room located on the top floor of the hospital.
A light lunch will be served. You will meet the medical staff, take a tour of the hospital and prepare donations we brought for the clinic days.
After dinner Elia & Gloria will share information regarding customs and expectations while in Uganda.
Host a FREE Family Medical Clinic at Tsiyon Family Hospital. Work alongside the hospital’s medical staff to treat patients as they arrive throughout the day. Non- medical team members will engage in tasks/activities around the hospital and distribute items brought to share.
**Following Friday’s clinic, hold a debriefing meeting to discuss successes and share suggestions for improving future clinics.
Travel to Kampala to exchange money and shop in African craft markets. If time allows meet with Pastor Robert Kayanja, a mentor of Elia and supporter of TFH and/or a member of the local LIONS CLUB.
For those who wish, attend Pastor Elia’s Resurrection Centre Church service with lunch served following the service
Leave TFH at 4:00 am for a safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Travel in the park observing the wildlife. Spend the night at a hotel.
Spend the day traveling through Queen Elizabeth National Park observing an abundance of African animals and birds. Stay the night at a hotel.
(Optional) – Those interested may also visit the nearby Kitagata Hot Springs, a natural geothermal site known for its warm mineral waters and tranquil setting.
Spend the day visiting the CTC Conservation Center to learn about local wildlife and environmental efforts.
Return to Sayyi.
Visit an area school. Pack for return home.
In the early evening a celebration dinner will be held together with Elia, Gloria, their children Nissi, Eliel, Elishua and the Tsiyon Family Hospital staff.
